FESPA Amsterdam was held from 8 to 11 March 2016, and again attracting visitors from all over the world. Kaspar Papir decided to attend this show with a split booth, one functioning as a lounge area for visitors, the second smaller booth operated as a business orientated meeting area.
In the lounge area we exhibited custom designed furnitures using sublimation transfer which were designed in house and fabricated in Spain. The colourful cushion objects demonstrated that when our dye sublimation transfer technique is applied on quality products it can deliver striking results. Designers in the world of fabric and textile can now realise their creativity through this trouble-free and yet sophisticated production technique.
The space created a relaxed atmosphere where both industry players as well as people from the creative field and art students could chat and mingle. At the same time they could have a closer look at the quality and precision of the transfer and experience the fine details of the print and fabrics.
Meanwhile, Kaspar Papir’s lite65 paper was being tested live at d.gen’s booth on their Papyrus G5. The performance of the paper gathered strong interest among the visitors of d.gen’s booth for its fast drying speed and dimensional stability. Going at 120 sqm/hour, lite65 was quoted as one of the best lightweight papers currently available on the market.
With market trends moving towards lighter paper for their economical advantages, this favourable on-site testing result showed that Kaspar Papir is heading in the right direction to cater to the market needs, and is in the forefront of the market trend.
Kaspar Papir would like to thank everyone who visited the booth in Amsterdam, the d.gen team for providing the opportunity to test the paper at the show, as well as the FESPA organization for making another successful show happen.
